Welcome!
Welcome!
how wonderful! i now have the time to, besides blog, do face masques, XOXO!!!, go for fish spas, have a proper haircut and someone shampoo my head, feet massages, travel, and also pay my credit card bill. =) =(
completed the last of my business diploma modules today, and i must announce that mdis is such a pain. it's worse than having your your fingers run over by a 5-toner, more disastrous than drowning in a pool. besides not informing the students about class test and exam dates, they did not deliver more than half the services as stated in the student contract, including uploading the lecture videos, the weekly chats with lecturers (that became fortnightly), leaving your name out of the exam list, not sending you a result slip hence causing you to miss the make-up exam, and the list goes on.
so it is a big relief that this whole online course with MDIS is over, and if you want a quality experience, never go there! unless your purpose is to buy a certificate, be it diploma, advanced dip, degree or even masters.
i happened to be sitting in the same room with some masters students doing a supplementary paper while i did my make-up exam for Fundamentals of I.T. what apparently happened was that these masters students started making noise about how the paper is not what they expected (i assume, very likely to be true, that they attended some tutorials where the lecturer told them the questions coming out). later on, an invigilator came in and chided these masters students for 'spotting questions'. Within the next 5 to 10 minutes, this same invigilator came in again. what he did this time was appalling! he exchanged the question papers for these students. thereafter, he asked, "so, can do the paper now?" i need not elaborate on the students' replies.
therefore, unless you are desperately in need of a certification, mdis does not provide education in the most righteous manner.
singapore technologies does not plan to keep me for very long more, or rather, the project is coming to an end. this means that i may be losing my job soon, which is a good thing. =D i've been planning on travelling, but with whom and where to i have no idea yet. so anyone keen on rooming with me (or whatever) please tell me. another trip would be the genting-KL route once again. maybe this one wait for raddy to finish his exams first. =)
i've forgotten every thing else i wanted to blog about. haha. till then, xoxo... =p
